There are several scenarios that can allow travel professionals to travel for free. In the previous article, I discussed 4 ways that agents travel out of their pockets to pay for their trip. This time I will explain how they also save and even travel for free.
Booking group can give you free bait
There is an incentive for the order group (the fact that group travel is the most favorable booking in the travel industry must be quite incentives). If a book agent is so many rooms (hotels) or cabins (on a cruise), they are cold getting a free room or cabin or money (not counting commissions) that they can use to their room or cabin. Of course all depends on the vendor group policy, the quantity needed and assigned as a group leader.
Actually you don’t have to be a travel agent to get this benefit, I described it above. Travel contest
Another way an agent can go free can be based on sales volume for certain properties or goals in a particular niche. Some travel vendors and agents can offer free trips to top agents as incentives or awards for sales performance. Such awards are offered as content too! I have seen some very exotic destinations, the life of a full paid trip to Costa Rica (wow!) Offered for a winning contest in my agency, which makes it really worthy of getting your sale
Travel allowances can be good
Agents can sometimes take advantage of the continuation of ‘orientation’ or benefits, which are the added benefit in the travel industry. We call it socializing because there are no vendors who are obliged to extend the allowance just because a professional travel identifies themselves. If the option to update the room or update rental cars is available, the agent will ask first if of course, and it’s up to the vendor to expand free services, facilities, or allowances to agents for a valid credential presentation. This privilege can also include performances, tickets, tours, and more.
Free travel agents in the long run
This is the part that I like about being a professional home-based trip! This is absolutely free in the long run! How is that? Travel professionals are allowed to remove travel 100% legally. Yes, they can, so regardless of whether you are a agent who pays for their trip, you are in a travel business, which makes all your trips 100% deducted. So, if you are a travel agent, the key is to document your trip and save your receipt so that you can legally delete your trip at the end of the tax year!
